What a great State Finals. Mandy Amos & Cash ran a 2D time the first go, came back faster with a nice 1D run and won the Finals in the Short Go!
Cash is just a special boy! Just patiently waiting until Rory can take over the reins for good on this big guy!
Rory & Cash
We just got reunited with this big boy in 2017!! A little back history - We sold Cash back in 2009. The sale of Cash helped us buy our farm & get where we are today. I had bought him as a late weanling then raised and trained him. We ran him at some Futurities, jackpots and open rodeos before selling him as a late 5 year old (2009). Fast forward to 2017 when Rex buys me Cash back as a Birthday present!! Best birthday present to date. We could not be more excited to have Cash back at our barn. With a little extra love & maintenance we got Cash back sound & running barrels. His 2nd run back he won an Open Rodeo! Cash has made some excellent runs, placing in the 2D at the State Finals, pulling 1D & 2D checks at the Pac West Barrel Race, finishing in the 1D at the No Bull Grand Slam! This year Cash had a great season. He won the 2D Average at the December Pac West Barrel Race as well as winning the 2D Saddle for the Pac West Year end. Best part with Cash is Rory gets to ride him. Stay tuned for updates as Rory starts to take the reins over on Cash! It wont be too long!!
